Education through Science & Technology
Book Distribution:
The society encourages the poorest meritorious students for their study continuation, and the society’s Free Book Distribution of 100 poor students on the occasion of the Notable Day ceremony.
Child Education:
This is an experimental learning center for the children who are either dropouts or out of school, run by the organization. It is a model of people’s initiative to run such an experimental school where contributions for maintaining the school are made by the charity of the local people.
Games & Sports Programmed:
The Organization has encouraged youth groups for drawing recreation and growing physical fitness among them through the arrangement of a Football tournament with 16 football teams for 3-day competition. In the final play, the winners’ and runners’ trophies are distributed to the captain and the other players’ prizes. All the expenses incurred by the organization’s own fund.
Annual Programme:
The Society this year organized an annual cultural function to promote recreation and educational value among the villagers’ participants for the programmes undertaken, such as Song, Abriti, Drama, etc., for a 3-day program on sports competition event. Attractive prizes rewarded to the winners in the competition events.
Skill Development Programme:
Under this programme, we address the country’s burning problem – unemployment and underemployment. With a view to combating this problem, we have reinforced our ongoing vocational training programmes in collaboration with the Government. & Non-Govt. Agencies. The ongoing programmes included, inter alia, upgradation of skills, impartation of basic knowledge to start income-generating activities, formation of Self Help Groups followed by Bank Credit linkage, SGSY, conducting training under the Directorate of Forests, etc. All activities are focused on youth belonging to economically backward communities.
Celebration of Memorable Days:
The society observes memorable days, International Women’s Day, No Tobacco Day, etc, with a view to boosting the moral standard of the people of the area. Morning processions, cultural function, seminars, etc., are being organized involving the village people and eminent guests.
